Windstorm Sapphire

Windstorm Sapphire

Windstorm Sapphire was purchased in December, 1987 when she was 8 months old. She is a half-sister to my mare Jewel, both having the same sire. Like Jewel, Sapphire was trained to drive as a 2 year-old and trained to ride when she was 3.

Sapphire drives well and is an excellent trail horse. Her greatest value to me has been the high quality foals she has produced when crossed with our stallion, Worlds Edge Goldoak. While I think that all of our foals have been very nice, there is something extra special about Sapphire's and Oak's.

Sapphire has produced 6 foals over the years, with 5 being sired by Worlds Edge Goldoak. She is currently open and I have been taking her on some trail rides since weaning her foal. She is doing very well, considering she has hardly been used at all for the last several years due to broodmare duty.
